So the metro area has begun work on a new initiative to make cold days less miserable for the homeless population by offering day centers and public restroom access. However, on the law enforcement side they are attempting to keep the sidewalks and "high traffic" areas free of squatters by enforcing a no sitting/laying/squatting on the sidewalk or you'll be fined, up to $250.00 rule. Giving out fines to homeless people. Right.
