A desk is a dangerous place from which to watch the world.
- John le Carre

**Google's quote for the day.
John le Carre is the author of several books in the mystery genre, including "The Constant Gardener" which sits on my shelf, waiting for me to not be afraid to read it.

It's Meg. I thought the movie was really well done - although I admit, I had to rewatch a couple parts to keep track of it as well. Let me know about the book if you get brave enough!

Carl Sauer thought the same - that all geographic inquiry should start and end with fieldwork. He's probably right, but it's not easy. Probably one of the reasons so many students study the place they live.
